New Year Honours List 2012

It has been a hard decision but I've decided to include just one person in this year's list, someone who works tirelessly in the fields of obscure cinema.

Regardless of the quality of the films he's in (Alien Agent anyone), Mark Dacascos manages to lift every one above fourth division obscurity. Always watchable and entertaining, Dacascos blossoms when paired with director Christophe Gans (see Brotherhood of the Wolf and Crying Freeman for evidence). 

So raise your glasses and bathe in his blameless glory. Mark Dacascos, we salute you. (Rumour has it that he may be making an appearance in next year's Year of the Dead season: Mark Dacasos and zombies, can't wait.)
