It's time to see how well the ladies have done as we pit the Ladies' Night Season against all of our other pleasant seasons.

Mid-table obscurity beckons for our ladies with an average score of only 5.4. Nothing to challenge either The Fog Season at the top of the table or lovely Luc Besson who will surely be propping up the bottom of the table for the rest of time. Not sure what the next season is going to be yet but I've got a few ideas...

The Year of the Dead been a massively long season but let's see how well it's done against our other seasons.

11. The Luc Besson Season = 2 (Average rating for the entire season)

No great shakes then for our zombie season with an average score of, well, just above average (at least it didn't worry Luc Besson, although some of the individual films would, Zombie 108 anyone?). Just remember that there are some cracking films within the season (mainly the first three by Romero and the four classic Fulci films). Coming soon will be a Doccortex season. And it's got its own theme tune.

Dario had some cracking films in his season but also plopped out a major duffer. Let's see how he fared in The Battle of the Seasons. In reverse order:

Mid-table obscurity then for Dario. Shame really due to the quality of his three big hitters, Suspiria, Tenebrae and my new favourite, Deep Red. After the success of Doccortex's Luc Besson season, he's decided to have another crack at this most auspicious chart. Find out what he's gone for in the new year.

You should look sad Mr Besson. I don't know why Doccortex bothered with his Luc Besson Season. He's charged right in there at the bottom of the table. Pathetic. The next season will be by another director. It can't be much worse than Luc's.
